Huawei has launched its latest addition to its line of True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Bluetooth headphones, the Huawei FreeBuds 4. The earbuds boast a host of audio features designed to set them apart from the competition. This includes Active Noise Canceling 2.0 open technology.
Huawei Freebuds 4 are also compatible with both Android devices and iPhone. Users can download the HUAWEI AI Life app to adjust the settings or perform various checks. This includes wear detection, quick inspection, health checks, noise reduction and device management.
The wireless earbuds feature a liquid crystal polymer composite diaphragm that supports a frequency range of up to 40kHz. This helps to further reduce sound loss while delivering treble. Additionally, the buds are powered by 14.3mm dynamic drivers.
Huawei adds that FreeBuds 4 Adaptive Ear Matching (AEM) technology in open-ear headphones for the first time. This enables the earbuds to intelligently optimize the audio bases for the shape of the user's ear and the wearing condition.
It is also said that the noise reduction has been improved through the use of hybrid noise canceling technology with two microphones.
“These microphones can help you pick up ambient sounds accurately, and they also have a new internal structure that can help avoid wind noise interference and also improve the sensitivity of the internal microphone picking up sound. This innovation alone can allow the headphones to cut noise down to 25dB when the noise canceling function is turned on, ”says Huawei.
The earbuds are currently sold in stores across the country for KES 17,999 with a free Huawei Band 4 included with every purchase.
